This all starts with our greatest asset…our employees.As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for selling BCP and CCE machines to new markets and customers. To be successful in this position, you will establish customer relationships and be able to sell the overall value of the Caterpillar brand, resulting in the sale of four machines per month at the budgeted profit levels.Primary Responsibilities:Provide coverage at assigned store for walk in customersAssist in maintaining retail presence at assigned storeCall assigned customer list on phone to develop prospects for selling machinesVisit customers in the field as needed for demonstrations, walk arounds and prospectingDocument coverage activities within the CRMExecute sales process on perspective customerParticipate in team selling as needed for selling situationsPrepare quotes as requiredUnderstand competitive product to be able sell against featuresResolve customer issuesLearn and sell value of products and servicesDemonstrate the required proficiency level in the specified foundation competencies and skillsAdditional Responsibilities:Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe mannerComplete additional tasks as assigned by managementWho We Are Looking For:To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, a competitive nature and initiative.
