Overview Role – Nurse Practitioner Location – Fayetteville, NC (On-site / Contract) Experience – Min 3+ Years to Max 20+ Years Start Date – 01-July 2024 to 31-July 2025 Mandatory Skills Primary Care Board Certified Board Eligible Job Description Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioners No of Contractors required: 3 Work site: Department of Veterans Affairs Fayetteville VA Medical Center, 7300 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304 One (1) FTE is defined by VA as a minimum of eighty (80) hours every two (2) weeks or 2080 hours per year. Period Of Performance: Base Year plus four (4) one (1) Year options needed Beginning 7-1-2024. On-Site Board Certified /Board Eligible Nurse Practitioners Services. (8 FTE x 2,080 Hours = 16,640 Hours) Service Contract Act: No Licensing & Certification 1.1 License – The Contractor’s Board Certified / Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner, assigned to perform the services covered by this contract, shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed on VA property. All licenses held by key personnel must be full and unrestricted. Practitioners with license restrictions, suspensions, revocations, or pending actions will not be considered. 1.2 Board Certification – All Contractor’s Nurse Practitioners shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice and currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent. All continuing education required to maintain certification must be kept up to date.
