Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for delivering high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The RN will work collaboratively within a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct emergency nursing care, assessing patient conditions and intervening as needed.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all clinical and safety protocols, including certifications and licensing requirements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests following established procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and team members during all shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CA RN license in good standing.
• Possess BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIH certification with current valid expiration dates.
• Have at least 1 year of emergency room nursing experience; travelers preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Show proficiency in emergency assessment and interventions.
• Complete all onboarding requirements within 3-5 days of contract signing.
