Instrument & Electrical Technician (Open) Location: Orlando, FL (AMG) - ASU Compensation & Schedule $33-38/hr & up DOE Hours: M-F 7am-3pm (On-Call Rotating) 4% Annual Bonus Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability Paid Holidays, 14 weeks paid childbirth benefit, floating holidays, paid vacation, sick time, and paid holidays for all eligible full‑time employees 401(k) retirement plan with company match, pre‑tax commuter benefit, tuition assistance, and Airgas Scholarship Program for dependents Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair instruments up to 480 volts Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation systems and calibrations per manufacturers, local work instructions, and governing regulations Install, maintain, adjust and repair manual, pneumatic, electric and electronic measuring, recording and regulating instrumentation Perform preventative inspections on mechanical equipment and systems per instructions and regulations Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems per instructions and regulations Maintain quality control and quality assurance equipment including process analyzers and gas chromatographs Maintain calibration standards, including inspection, testing and measuring equipment as well as calibration gas cylinders Perform routine and non‑routine analytical calibrations and adjustments Maintain, troubleshoot and perform maintenance on compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, motors and other plant equipment Demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills Commit to safety practices Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 5+ years experience maintaining instrumentation and electrical systems in industrial processes Preferred Qualifications Minimum two years of college, technical school or military technical experience Equal Employment Opportunity Information We are an equal opportunity employer.
