Business Development Representative

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for an entry to mid-level Business Development Representative for our client in West Des Moines. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, work well independently, and have strong communication skills. Strong customer services skills, follow through and positive attitude required.

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday-Friday) 

Pay: Base $38,000-$42,000 + Commission

Job Responsibilities

• Creating new business opportunities by developing relationships with key decision makers.
• Prospecting and qualifying new target accounts.
• Scheduling appointments with prospects and clients.
• Presentations, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
• Meet daily, weekly, quarterly and years sales activity goals.
• Working directly with internal service team to understand processes, goals, and expectations.

Requirements: 

• 8-16 months business development exp. (b2b sales).
• High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & proof of insurance.
• A competitive attitude.
• Problem solving and negotiating skills.
• Ability to hold a conversation, listen and overcome objections.
• Ability to work independently and meet goals.
