Wise Heavy Equipment is seeking a full-time Parts Counterperson to deliver excellent customer service and support our parts department. Experience in the automotive, trucking, or equipment parts industry is preferred. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, and willing to assist wherever needed. We are a family-owned Volvo Construction Equipment dealer based in Omaha, proudly serving customers throughout Nebraska and surrounding areas. All inquiries will be kept confidential.
Schedule: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Parts Sales and Customer Support
- Manage the parts sales process from start to finish
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding parts availability and order status
- Answer department phone calls and assist walk-in customers with price quotes, product information, and parts inquiries
Parts Lookup, Inventory, and Fulfillment
- Learn and use electronic/digital parts catalogs to accurately identify and locate parts
- Pull, fill, and process customer and shop orders from stock
- Perform weekly bin checks to help maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare orders for daily shipment or customer pickup
- Receive, organize, and label incoming parts
- Maintain accurate inventory and restock shelves as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including:
- Background check
