Description What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory testsfrom chemistry and hematology to immunologyfollowing established protocols with precision.
• Review test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for comprehensive testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff members or students, and contribute to maintaining stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification accompanied by a commitment to achieving ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
