Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory examinations—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—according to established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for various testing as needed.
• Document all protocols meticulously, train incoming staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality benchmarks.
• Ensure a clean, secure working environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
