Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments as necessary.
• Assisting in specimen collection and preparing samples for further analysis is also part of your role.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new employees or students, and help uphold stringent laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while abiding by all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Must maintain current certification during employment.
