• Ensure results are accurate, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary.
• Meticulously document all processes and train new staff or students while maintaining lab quality assurance standards.
• Promote a clean, safe, and regulatory-compliant work environment.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain ongoing certification as a condition of employment.
