General Purpose
We are seeking a talented leader to become our next District Director of Employee Relations and Title IX. The successful candidate will provide leadership for and oversee the districtwide Title IX program. - Provide supervision and leadership to assigned staff, including participation in recruitment and selection, performance management, professional development, disciplinary action and grievance administration in accordance with Personnel Commission Rules, Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, Human Resources procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Advise leadership on compliance risks, emerging trends, systemic issues, and institutional exposure; recommend strategies, policy changes, and corrective actions to mitigate risk and strengthen Districtwide compliance and culture; advise and collaborate with campus partners regarding legislative developments, case management trends, compliance challenges, and concerns related to discrimination, harassment, bullying, and Title IX compliance including federal and state requirements related to pregnancy and related conditions.

- And, at least two (2) years in a lead or supervisory capacity, which may be included within the required five (5) years of experience above.
- Or, any combination of education, training, and experience which would provide the required equivalent qualifications for the position.
- Juris doctor or master's degree in one of the disciplines identified above is preferred.

The assessment process will include a written assessment (30% weight) and an oral interview assessment (70% weight). Passing score is 75% out of 100% on each assessment section.

Only the most qualified applicants who achieve a passing score on the assessment will advance to the next phase of the recruitment process. Candidates who pass all components of the assessments will be placed in rank order on a Districtwide Open-Competitive List. Using the same process, a separate Districtwide Promotional List will be established and both Lists will be used concurrently. Unless otherwise indicated, the eligibility list will be used to fill current vacancies in this classification districtwide for at least one (1) year. The current vacancy is at the District Office.
PASSING THE ASSESSMENTS AND BEING PLACED ON THE ELIGIBILITY LIST DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT. VERIFICATIONS OF EMPLOYMENT WILL BE COLLECTED IF AN OFFER IS MADE.
