UMC is currently seeking a RN: Registered Nurse for The Shores , our Senior Care Community located in Ocean City, NJ within picturesque Cape May County. Responsibilities The RN: Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to residents within the assigned nursing residence, supporting medical care in line with the objectives and policies of the community. Oversee nursing assistants and other nursing personnel according to New Jersey Nursing Standards for RNs as designated by the Director of Nursing/Designee. Provide emotional support to residents by recognizing, understanding, and respecting their psychosocial, cultural, religious, and economic needs. Communicate with residents, families, peers, and ancillary staff to promote quality care. Assist with activities of daily living, restorative nursing as outlined in residents' care plans. Participate in the orientation and instruction of new nursing associates assigned to the resident. Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred. Prior long‑term care experience preferred. Current New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
