We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in Everett, MA. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and maintaining the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. They direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive the sales initiatives of Mavis. Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction, and strive to meet expectations. To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
