Implementation Consultant - Systems

Responsibilities Daily Operations & Administration (50%) – Manage administrative and case‑management issues with minimal supervision, process participant requests and plan‑level data operations, complete and peer‑review transactions and postings, communicate with clients regarding participant inquiries, ensuring accurate processing within SLA timeframes. Technical Analysis & System Configuration (30%) – Apply advanced analytical skills, test and analyze system configurations during implementation, leverage database tools to set up benefits databases, define data fields, import data, design screens and queries, apply knowledge of benefit rules and regulations, review plan documents and assist with research. Quality Assurance & Project Management (20%) – Participate in client‑specific and organization‑wide projects, monitor schedules, collaborate with leaders and project managers, define scope and timelines, integrate quality assurance processes, notify managers or clients proactively if timelines at risk. Qualifications 3‑5 years in benefits administration industry or as an analyst/operations specialist. Demonstrated analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail. Familiarity with healthcare or group benefits concepts. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros). Experience with data processing and analysis. Excellent oral and written communication, organization, time‑management, self‑motivation, quality‑conscious. Strong collaboration and fit for a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of SQL, MS Access, and/or VB. BA/BS degree. Project management background. Experience with database management or data processing. Experience in project coordination or administrative support roles. Professional certifications in HR, benefits or related fields (e.g., CEBS, SHRM). Experience working in a consulting or client services environment. Understanding of compliance requirements in benefits administration. Salary Salary Range: $57,000 – $90,000 USD annual.
