E-Billing Specialist

Overview The New York office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an E-Billing Specialist with legal experience. The E-Billing Specialist must demonstrate expertise in all areas of the ebilling process, including invoice submission and rate submissions. The E-Billing Specialist must understand and demonstrate expertise in all facets of the electronic billing function, particularly for insurance defense matters which may include split and other complex billing arrangements. This role requires excellent technology and communication skills, must research and resolve ebilling-related inquiries and discrepancies all while handling a high volume workload using multiple ebilling platforms. Responsibilities Job Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma required; college level courses in Accounting or Accounting Degree are a plus. 2 to 4 or more years hands‑on billing experience preferably in a law firm environment, including 1 to 3 or more years electronic billing experience. Aderant, Elite, LawTime (or equivalent) legal accounting software experience. BillBlast or eBillingHub experience a plus. Hands on familiarity with multiple e-billing vendor systems and outside counsel guidelines. Strong technology and office skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook, and ability to create, edit, and present complex data, analyses and ad‑hoc reports. Flexibility to adjust to varied situations and possibly work weekends or evenings as needed. Minimum Salary USD $80,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary USD $95,000.00/Yr. #J-18808-Ljbffr
