PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a client that is a recognized leader in industrial manufacturing to find a skilled Welder/Fabricator ready to make an immediate impact. In this hands-on role, you’ll support critical manufacturing operations by delivering high-quality welding, fabrication, and repair work. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure every product meets strict engineering and safety standards. This is a contract opportunity with the potential to transition into a long-term role.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime: Fridays as needed

Type: Contract with potential for permanent placement

Pay rate: $24.00/hour

• Perform MIG and TIG welding across a range of materials and components

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to guide production

• Inspect and evaluate welds for strength, accuracy, and compliance

• Identify defects such as porosity, undercut, and incomplete penetration—and repair accordingly

• Execute groove and fillet welds in multiple positions (1–5G, 1–3F)

• Read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical plans

• Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures

• Conduct inspections to ensure parts meet precise specifications

• Troubleshoot fabrication issues to maintain production efficiency

• Follow all safety and operational procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Work collaboratively with team members while also managing tasks independently

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding (required)

• Brazing experience

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset

• Reliability and focus on safety in a manufacturing environment

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
