Job Description
The Lead Material Handler plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position leads a small team of 1-5 members, ensuring seamless material flow and maintaining inventory accuracy using Warehouse Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversee material receiving and inspection processes
- Maintain accurate inventory control and record-keeping
- Supervise and support a small team of material handlers
- Coordinate shipping schedules and logistics
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in material handling
- Forklift operation certification and experience
