Lube Technician Opportunity

Ira Ford Saco is hiring a dependable Lube Technician to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level automotive technician or someone with prior lube or maintenance experience who wants to grow their career at a family-owned Ford dealership. You will play a key role in delivering fast, accurate vehicle maintenance and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Check, top off, and replace fluids such as engine oil, coolant, brake, and transmission fluids
• Inspect belts, hoses, tires, and other basic vehicle components
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns
• Communicate recommended repairs or maintenance needs to service advisors
• Accurately document all services performed
• Follow dealership safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area including scrap and debris removal
• Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely vehicle service
• Continue learning automotive maintenance procedures and best practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Lube Technician or automotive maintenance role preferred
• Knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance services
• Ability to use shop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
