Sports Complex Coordinator - Various Locations

* Experience in a municipal or government setting.* Previous supervisory experience is preferred.* Supervise staff engaged in the maintenance and landscaping of the City’s community parks and Sports Complex.* Conduct technical maintenance work, such as ball field preparation and renovations.* Oversee irrigation system testing and maintenance.* Act as the onsite lead turf grass management technical representative for application, recording, and storage of required fertilizers and pesticides.* Complete administrative tasks, attend meetings, manage weekly reports, conduct onsite safety inspections, and monitors supplies and inventory.* Experienced with personnel supervision including timekeeping, approving requests for time off, etc.* Comfortable directing personnel in what’s needed to meet the needs of an activity, event or program with minimal direction.* Comfortable communicating with patrons, volunteers, vendors, concessionaires, and public safety and team personnel as required.* A safety conscious, punctual team player with a high work ethic, with the flexibility to act cross-functionally when the Department's workload demands.Recently voted the #1 place, to live, work and play, Peoria is a community you can be proud to work for.
