Registered Nurse, Cardiology

Provide skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider Collect patient health data and analyze to determine diagnoses and identify expected outcomes Develop a plan of care prescribing interventions to attain expected outcomes Implement interventions identified in the plan of care Evaluate patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes Work collaboratively with the healthcare team Perform professional nursing work of considerable difficulty including the care of patients as outlined by physicians and the objectives and policies of the organization Provide patient and family health education and health assessment Requirements Associate Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program Current Ohio Registered Nurse license CPR/BLS certified Knowledge of triage procedures along with clinic, physician office and/or urgent care experience Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids Ability to educate and clearly communicate with patients and/or families regarding disease nature and proper care instructions Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations Analytical ability and critical thinking to gather and interpret data and develop, recommend, and implement solutions Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing skilled nursing services, developing and implementing patient care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
