Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation’s third largest arts center, comprised of three Art Partners—Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art. Your work will help bring these experiences to life for Job Details Reports to: Patron Services Manager FLSA: United States of America (Non-Exempt) Employment Status: Temporary/Part time Work Schedule: Primarily nights and weekends, varying with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra/Atlanta Symphony Hall live schedule. Core Responsibilities Provide first‑rate customer service to guests visiting the Woodruff Arts Center. Welcome guests, assist them in arriving and entering through the EVOLV system, answer questions, scan tickets, and guide them to their seats. Assist the Event Supervisor and Event Manager with additional duties and responsibilities as requested. Coordinate ingress and egress of Symphony Hall, including scanning of tickets. Support Front of House Manager with event setup and break down. Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred). 1+ years of customer service/guest services experience (preferred or equivalent education/experience that provides comparable knowledge, skills and abilities). Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal communication. Knowledge of all Arts Partners events taking place on campus. Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills. Ability to be prompt, dependable and complete tasks with limited supervision. Familiarity with ADA requirements and patron assistance. Ability to demonstrate reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Physical Demands The position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and occasional sitting, lifting and carrying at least 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
