Room Attendant/Housekeeper

Room Attendant
PrideStaff is partnering with a local hotel to find a dedicated Room Attendant to join their housekeeping team. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning and servicing tasks to ensure hotel guests enjoy a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment.
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
Shift/Working Hours: 9 AM-5PM Monday-Friday (some weekends)
In this role, you will:
- Clean and service guest rooms by making beds, replacing linens, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, and emptying trash.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen areas (where applicable), and replenish room and bathroom supplies according to established brand standards.
- Monitor your surroundings to maintain safety and cleanliness, reporting any maintenance issues, room statuses, or lost and found items to management.

Experience & Reliability: Previous hotel experience is preferred, but 2+ years of customer service experience or a strong ability to perform physical labor with minimal supervision is highly valued.
Communication Skills: The ability to positively communicate with guests and co-workers, follow schedules, and complete required housekeeping forms.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift, handle regular bending, stooping, and reaching, and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
