Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, floating between two MS/Tele units based on census and staffing needs
• Administer medications in accordance with facility quality and patient safety standards, including Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA)
• Monitor and assess patients using standard med/surg and telemetry equipment, including Liko lifts available in most patient rooms
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Cerner electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a short-term acute care, teaching, Level IV trauma facility
• Participate in orientation modules during the first week of assignment, with all module hours billable

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or a valid compact RN license (submissions accepted with pending licensure)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Willingness and ability to float to other units or affiliate facilities based on skill set and census needs, without restrictions
• Availability to work every other weekend
• Ability to work 2 of the facility's recognized holidays during the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ICU or PCU experience in addition to strong MS/Tele background
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Well-rounded clinical background with comfort working in a flex pool environment
