Job Title : Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Location : Oxford, CT

Salary : $20-24p/hour

Hours : Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm

We’re partnered with a well-established, employee-owned high-volume manufacturer, currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization supplying high-spec industries including medical, defense, and technology, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.

The position is a replacement hire and sits within a structured supply chain team, reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, with oversight from the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities;

• Prepare and process all shipping and receiving documentation accurately and on time
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and order records
• Complete ERP transactions (Syteline) for shipping and receiving activities
• Manage approximately 30–40 shipments per week, primarily domestic with occasional international orders
• Respond to internal inquiries regarding shipment status, delays, and transit times
• Review daily order backlogs and communicate shortages or issues to internal teams
• Coordinate orders for external services and ensure timely processing
• Participate in annual physical inventory processes
• Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment
• Support workflow improvements within logistics and warehouse operations
• Ensure urgent shipments and requests are processed and dispatched on time
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with company standards

Requirements;

• 3–5 years’ experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (Syteline preferred)
• Knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping systems
• Forklift experience (certification required or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working in a smaller, more independent warehouse setting
• Ability to work closely with a small team while remaining self-sufficient
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Additional Information;

This role is based in a secondary warehouse location approximately 1–2 blocks from the main facility.

You will work alongside one other Shipping & Receiving Coordinator on-site, with regular interaction across both warehouse teams.

The environment requires someone comfortable working in a quieter, more independent setting while maintaining strong communication with the wider team.
