Clayton, Missouri law firm’s Business, Real Estate & Corporate Transactions Group is seeking a 5+ year corporate transactional associate to join their sophisticated and growing business practice. This role is designed for an attorney currently practicing at a larger regional or national firm who is ready for more ownership, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path toward long-term growth within a high-performing transactional group. The Practice Buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions Asset and stock purchase transactions Commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing Corporate structuring and governance matters Strategic transactions from letter of intent through closing We represent privately held businesses, developers, investors, and growth-oriented companies across industries. What You’ll Do This position is not limited to drafting support. You will: Lead significant portions of M&A transactions from diligence through closing Draft and negotiate core transaction documents (purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, LOIs, NDAs, financing documents) Advise clients on corporate governance and risk management Serve as primary or secondary client contact on transactions Coordinate with lenders, accountants, business advisors, and opposing counsel Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development What We’re Looking For 5+ years of corporate transactional and/or commercial real estate experience Demonstrated experience handling sophisticated M&A transactions Strong drafting and negotiation skills across complex deal documents Ability to independently manage deal workflow and timelines Commercial judgment and client-facing confidence Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission We are seeking someone who operates at a high level, takes ownership of their work, and wants to build a long-term practice. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sherry Hurst Legal Recruiting
