King Filtration's products are utilized in the manufacturing of fluids and gases, as well as on plant support equipment, including compressors, lubrication systems, metalworking, and industrial air systems.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Working within all established safety guidelinesProviding world-class customer serviceEstablishing rapport and developing solid relationships with key customer contacts and vendorsProspecting for new contacts in current and new businessesMeeting and exceeding sales and margin targetsCollaborating with pricing manager to develop strategic pricing strategiesProspecting for and acquiring new business at all volume levelsMaintaining and growing sales to existing customer baseOrganizing and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure effective and efficient territory coverageMeeting monthly with ISRs to review budget and goals for upcoming monthEvaluating filter applications for value optimization and solution presentationCompleting the required weekly sales call activityRegularly utilizing CRM softwareDeveloping solid technical skillsGenerating timely and accurate quotesUtilizing the training catalog and the media library for presentationsSupporting company initiatives in the areas of marketing, sales, and trainingManaging and ensuring compliance regarding implementation of new accounts and contractsMaintaining monthly expense and mileage reportsUtilizing auto generated reports to understand, manage and develop businessUnderstanding and utilizing King business systemsWorking with assigned Inside Account ManagerGeneral QualificationsGeneral qualifications include:Excellent oral and written communication skills utilizing the English languageGood attention to detail with timely follow-up skillsHigh level of sense of urgencyProfessional appearance and behaviorSolid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectivelyStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Outlook, Word and ExcelAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyEffective time management skillsMeet appropriate deadlines, be responsive and accessibleAccurate and results oriented.Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customersHigh mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical information.
