Job Title: Production Lead

Overview summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Lead with a background in packaging or manufacturing to oversee daily production activities and support a team of production employees. In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping ensure production schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and delivery goals are consistently met.

Job Details

Location: Northwest Houston, TX 77064

Pay: $20.00–$27.00 per hour, DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities and workflow.
• Supervise and support production employees throughout the shift.
• Monitor productivity and ensure daily production goals are met.
• Maintain quality standards and address production issues as they arise.
• Ensure employees follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Help organize work assignments and prioritize daily production needs.
• Monitor the use of production materials, tools, and equipment.
• Work with packaging materials and production processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and help implement solutions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Warehouse, Sales, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• Assist with training and onboarding of production employees.
• Support management with production reporting and daily operational needs.

Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• 2–3 years of lead, supervisory, or team-lead experience.
• Previous experience in the packaging industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with production teams, workflow, and daily output requirements.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, or production equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to safely lift and handle production materials as required.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass E-Verify requirements.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work the scheduled Monday–Friday shift consistently.
