Key Highlights Weekly pay: $3,062–$3,124 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Contract duration: weeks Shift: 4x12 Nights Start date: 08/31/2026 Setting: hospital Responsibilities Provide bedside RN care in a mixed-acuity PCU/IMC/MS Telemetry unit for PCU and MS Tele patients, plus surgical pre/post (ENT, general, trauma, ortho) and overflow medical diagnoses Monitor telemetry, recognize and manage dysrhythmias; support post-MI care, anticoagulation protocols, and cardiac drips as ordered Administer IV therapies, including IV insulin and insulin infusions; manage peripheral IVs, central lines, and blood product administration Perform wound care (including Wound Vac), chest tube care, feeding tube care, and routine phlebotomy; support vascular access and infection control Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; document assessments and plans in EPIC; participate in rounds and patient education using SBAR handoffs May float per unit policy to West 2, West 3, and Observation unit to support patient flow and safety Requirements NY RN license in-hand and active to submit Minimum 1 year RN experience; PCU/IMC experience within the past 3 years (required) EPIC charting experience required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS and TCAR preferred Ability to work in a hospital setting; 12-hour shifts; float to related units as needed Travel assignment; distance rule: must be located more than 50 miles from the assignment location; confirm radius with account management before submission Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the rotation Fast credentialing and onboarding processes Unit-specific orientation (12-hour) to support acclimation Access to assignment resources and ongoing clinical support About Healthforce Healthforce is a nationwide travel healthcare staffing agency connecting travel nurses and allied health professionals with high-quality contract assignments across the United States.
