Sr. HR Generalist

We are looking for a proactive, collaborative Sr. HR Generalist to join us onsite as a trusted partner to both our employees and leadership team. Working closely with the VP of Human Resources, you will serve as a frontline contact for full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, and day-to-day HR support. Job Summary: The Sr. HR Generalist will provide full-spectrum HR support to the organization. This in-office, onsite role will work towards building and promoting an environment characterized by fairness, consistency, open communication, productive working relationships, and an overall positive employee experience. The role will support hiring managers by sourcing talent to add to the organization and managing the processes for recruiting, hiring and onboarding. This individual will often be a first point of contact for recruiting needs, policy and procedure guidance, employee leaves of absence, performance matters, manager support, and general employee inquiries. The Sr. HR Generalist must perform all duties with a positive and supportive attitude and with a heavy emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Duties/Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new hires. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all steps in processes and workflows relating to job postings, hires, employee changes, and terminations. Enter personnel related information into the HRIS system and other necessary software, maintaining accuracy and integrity of the data at all times. Conduct effective and engaging new hire orientations, ensuring that new employees have a positive and welcoming first-day experience and are set up for success in their new role. Ensure effective communication and understanding of the EBTH attendance policy, as well as accuracy and consistency in administration of the point system. In partnership with third-party support, ensure accurate, compliant and timely administration of all employee leaves of absence along with effective communication and support of affected employees. In partnership with third-party support and the security team, ensure detailed and accurate follow-up on any workplace safety incidents. Provide expert and timely guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment and effective conflict resolution. Contribute to planning and coordination of employee events. Collaborate with Marketing and others on effective internal communication activities such as company newsletter, company update meetings, new hire orientations and town hall meetings. Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations matters while ensuring consistent application of company policies. Consistently collect and maintain all employment-related documentation in the appropriate files, with sensitivity to security, confidentiality, and compliance. Support processes relating to annual benefits enrollment, pay increases, engagement surveys, and performance reviews. In partnership with third-part support, respond to requests and inquiries relating to unemployment benefits and employment verification in a timely and appropriate manner. Remain current with applicable human resources laws, regulations, trends and best practices through ongoing self-development and educational efforts. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all activities involving personnel matters or handling of other sensitive information. Confer with hiring managers to understand personnel needs, job specifications and duties, qualifications, and skills in order to effectively source and evaluate applicants. Perform job evaluations and work with leaders to create/maintain job descriptions. Partner with leaders to resolve employee concerns and foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment. Occasional travel to other company facility. Perform other duties and completes special projects as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Proficiency with HRIS software Proficiency with Google Workspace is helpful Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of applicable HR-related federal, state and local regulations Fundamental knowledge of HR principals, procedures and practices Strong written/verbal communication, conflict resolution skills, detail orientation, and strict adherence to confidentiality Must have ability to communicate well and build relationships at all levels of an organization Must have effective time management and organizational skills Must exhibit strong attention to detail Must consistently demonstrate a positive and helpful demeanor and approach Must be capable of effectively handling and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Education & Experience: BA/ BS degree in Human Resources or related field Minimum of 6 years of Human Resources experience including recruiting responsibilities HR certification (PHR, SPHR, etc.) helpful, but not required Benefits & Perks: Benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life & disability 401k retirement plan with company match Flexible vacation time Employee discount program We are not providing relocation for this position and are only accepting applications for candidates who are located in the Cincinnati, OH area.
