Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager

The Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within the lawn care and landscaping sector through proactive prospecting, client relationship development, and effective account management. This role requires a disciplined sales approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to oversee service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

$55,000 - $75,000 a year

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through structured prospecting, cold calling, and targeted outreach
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with residential and commercial clients
• Manage assigned accounts, ensuring consistent communication, service accuracy, and timely follow-up
• Oversee the execution of sold jobs to confirm alignment with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
• Conduct routine property inspections to verify service quality and identify improvement opportunities
• Evaluate existing accounts for potential service enhancements and upsell opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, job details, and sales activities within company systems
• Collaborate with operational teams to support efficient job scheduling, service delivery, and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in outside sales, cold calling, or lead-generation-focused roles preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a structured schedule
• Comfortable working outdoors and visiting client properties regularly
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality service
