Location: Houston, TX - This is a fully on-site opportunity in Houston's Galleria/Uptown area, offering a convenient professional setting close to major amenities and transportation.

Note: Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills and at least 1 year of legal assistant or paralegal experience are required. Litigation support experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Communicate professionally and empathetically with current and prospective clients.
• Prepare, organize, and file pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation.
• Maintain accurate case files, databases, calendars, and internal records.
• Prepare witness materials and organize documents for attorney review.
• Assist with deposition preparation, scheduling, attendance, and exhibit organization.
• Prepare and file court documents while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
• Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate appointments, calendars, and case-related activities.
• Support attorneys and the litigation team with additional administrative and legal tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of legal assistant or paralegal experience.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Litigation support experience preferred.
• Familiarity with personal injury law is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing deadlines, and manage multiple matters.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and legal technology.
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and proactive.
