Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to two attorneys.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct research to support legal proceedings
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Record and store client information on the Firm's encrypted cloud storage.
Communicate with clients to develop cases, including preparing and coordinating discovery for attorney review
Calendar deadlines
Scheduling and coordinating with potential new clients, current clients, courts, mediators, and arbitrators
Communicate with courts, mediators, and arbitrators in the context of developing the case

Qualifications:

A very positive attitude
A minimum of three years experience as a litigation paralegal is required
A thorough understanding of the calendaring process
Familiarity with legal research
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
