Description Specialization Cardiology Non Invasive Job Summary Austin Heart would like to recruit an advanced practice provider to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas, in Harker Heights, TX. Qualified Candidates Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain Practicing at the Harker Heights office with two interventional cardiologists and one non-invasive cardiologist; may include outreach locations such as Lampasas, TX Call requirements: 12 weekends per year Office hours: Mon-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-4:30 Start date: ASAP Licensed in the state of Texas The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills Incentive/Benefits Package Competitive salary Full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k with matching CME allowance PTO About Austin Heart Austin Heart is the largest cardiology group in Central Texas with 48 physicians, 50 APPs and 245 employees.
