Position Summary
The Business Analyst serves as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business needs are accurately translated into effective solutions. This role supports the full solution-development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through implementation and post-deployment support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Act as an advocate for business stakeholders throughout all phases of the solution lifecycle:
- Initiation
- Analysis
- Development
- Testing
- Implementation
- Post-implementation support
- Conduct complex business analysis to identify key challenges and recommend solutions.
- Gather, document, and manage detailed business and system requirements.
- Develop business cases that clearly define:
- Business needs
- Proposed solutions
- Expected benefits and outcomes
- Collaborate closely with development teams to refine solution designs and implementation approaches.
- Monitor project progress to ensure deliverables align with documented requirements.
- Resolve issues and conflicts related to technical deviations from agreed-upon requirements.
- Partner with testing teams to validate system functionality against business requirements.
- Ensure defects and issues are identified, addressed, and resolved before deployment.
- Evaluate solution effectiveness during implementation and recommend enhancements when necessary.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Support projects across multiple business and technical areas.
- Mentor, train, and assist junior team members as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Business Management
- Information Systems
- Or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in:
- Business Analysis
- Systems Analysis
- Or a related discipline
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a closely related graduate degree.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:
- Excel

- Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
- Strong research and data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to identify business problems and develop practical solutions.
- Experience translating business needs into functional requirements.
- Strong project management abilities.

- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
