Business Development Manager III - Financial Wellness Solutions

The Business Development Manager III is based in the East Territory and works within PNC’s Financial Wellness Solutions organization. Job Description Build client acquisition strategies and direct new client sales across financial wellness solutions, driving revenue and market share growth. Develop and execute strategy to acquire, expand, and retain client relationships, generating revenue and deepening share of wallet. Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of non‑credit products and services. Manage risk/return and ensure quality for new and existing clients, mitigating regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. Provide insights and ideas based on understanding of clients’ needs and financial well‑being, driving engagement and loyalty through strategic dialogue. Maintain an effective network of senior internal and external relationships, including community, industry, and partner relationships to actively acquire new clients and expand existing ones. Present PNC’s full range of products and services to clients, leveraging reporting and sales tools to convert opportunities. Analyze, evaluate, and inform on complex financial wellness solutions, product knowledge, industry benchmarking, and positioning. Qualifications University or college degree; advanced education (master’s, PhD) or certifications preferred. Industry‑relevant experience typically 8+ years, with proven origination and closing of new business in professional services, manufacturing, healthcare, wholesale, or general services. Strong business acumen, client relationship management, customer experience, decision‑making, effective communication, sales negotiation, and tech savviness. Demonstrated ability to analyze and position financial wellness solutions to complex clients. Travel within the East Territory to meet with Relationship Managers, clients, prospects, and partners. Pay Transparency Base Salary: $80,000.00 – $179,400.00. Salary may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual experience. This role is incentive eligible.
