Senior Manager, Global Late-Stage Partnering (Business Development)

Ipsen seeks a Senior Manager to lead late-stage opportunity intelligence across Oncology, Rare Disease, and Neuroscience. The role involves maintaining a comprehensive external partnering landscape, coordinating cross-functional insights, and translating complex data into strategic recommendations for portfolio and business development decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain comprehensive, continuously updated landscape of late-stage partnering opportunities across three therapeutic areas
- Develop systematic process for identifying, tracking, evaluating, and prioritizing external assets and strategic companies
- Monitor external environment for emerging opportunities, competitive developments, and market dynamics shifts
- Track and analyze clinical, regulatory, commercial, and financing milestones for programs of strategic interest
- Provide ad hoc support on selected business development transactions including diligence and valuation support
Requirements
- 3–7 years in business development, competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, or biopharmaceutical industry
- Experience evaluating external assets, technologies, or pipeline opportunities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in scientific, medical, or business discipline
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry knowledge including drug development and regulatory pathways
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) or MBA preferred
