Appliance Service Coordinator

East Coast Appliance is looking for an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Appliance Service Coordinator to join our growing service team in the Tidewater area.

The Service Coordinator is a key part of our operation, helping ensure our customers receive outstanding service while keeping our technicians organized and productive. About the Position

As an Appliance Service Coordinator , you will be responsible for coordinating daily service operations and serving as an important connection between our customers, technicians, parts department, manufacturers, and stores.

You will help make sure service calls are scheduled efficiently, customers are kept informed, technicians have the information they need, and issues are resolved quickly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate appliance service calls and technician routes
• Communicate with customers by phone regarding appointments, repairs, parts, and follow-ups
• Dispatch technicians and adjust schedules throughout the day as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and customer information
• Coordinate warranty and customer-paid service calls
• Communicate with manufacturers and warranty companies when necessary
• Monitor technician schedules and follow up on outstanding service calls
• Coordinate parts availability and backorders
• Reschedule appointments when parts or additional service are required
• Handle customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally
• Follow up with customers to ensure service issues have been properly resolved
• Work closely with technicians, management, stores, and parts personnel
• Help identify scheduling or service issues before they become customer problems
• Provide a professional and positive experience from the first customer call through completion of the repair

• The ability to communicate effectively with customers and technicians
• Previous experience in appliance service, dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or a similar position is a plus

Appliance industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude, work ethic, and customer-service skills.
