Sr. Applications Engineer

Applications EngineerMPS is looking for an Applications Engineer to join the Automotive BMS Product Line. Responsibilities include testing and debugging products, developing application notes solving customer problems, creating pcb and evkits, and providing support to key customers.Essential FunctionsWork with technical marketing engineers, application engineers, design engineers, test engineers on to ensure product specifications are achievedCreate PCB schematics, bill of materials, and layouts, for evkits and reference designsSupport GUI and basic python scripting for the control of battery management systemsAssist in writing application notes, test specifications, datasheets and other customer collateralSupport key customersPreferred QualificationMSEE or higher2-5+ years experience (BMS experience preferred)Battery knowledge such as SOC/SOH derivationsExperience with Cadence Orcad toolExperience with DMM's, Oscilloscopes, Source Measurement Units, Signal Generator, Temperature Chamber, Spectrum AnalyzersFamiliarity with python scripting and instrument controlExcellent communication skillsFluent communication in EnglishLocationChandler, AZMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
