Join our International Banking Operations team and play a critical role supporting Standby Letters of Credit, a key product that helps businesses manage risk and support commercial growth around the world. In this role, you'll partner with relationship managers and business partners across the organization to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality operational support.

What You'll Do

As an International Banking Operations Associate 3, you'll support the maintenance and administration of existing Standby Letters of Credit while ensuring requests are completed accurately and within established service-level expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Process amendments to existing Standby Letters of Credit, including increases, decreases, and expiration-date extensions.
• Review financial and legal documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.
• Support maintenance activities and automatic-extension processes that require review, approvals, and execution of defined workflows.
• Prioritize incoming requests and manage competing deadlines while meeting service-level agreements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and internal business partners to obtain information, resolve questions, and complete transactions.
• Communicate effectively through email, Teams, and occasional phone conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Research issues, identify solutions, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Help ensure operational excellence through accurate, detail-oriented work and a commitment to quality service.

Schedule & Location

• Monday through Friday 8am-5pm local time
• 3+ days onsite in Portland, Saint Paul, or Charlotte

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five or more years of relevant work experienc

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience supporting Standby Letters of Credit, trade finance products, or related banking operations.
• Experience in financial services, banking operations, commercial lending, treasury management, or customer servicing environments.
• Experience reviewing documentation and processing transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to quickly learn complex processes and apply sound judgment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work within a fast-paced environment.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $30.29 - $40.38
