About the Role

The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for its tax reporting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing real-time tax data and analytics to enhance reporting processes and support strategic decision-making. This role involves coordinating and overseeing various projects within the tax reporting function, managing tax deliverables and processes in collaboration with external service providers, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of a wide range of tax-related activities, including US federal, international, state, and local tax returns and payments. Applicants must have 7-9 years' of relevant tax experience, a strong knowledge of general accounting, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a CPA being preferred and a Master's degree being a plus. The role also includes tasks such as reviewing and calculating book/tax differences, tax allocations, and partner allocations, as well as assisting in the analysis of cross-border transactions for tax implications. The ideal candidate will be adept at drafting communications for senior stakeholders, managing interactions with tax authorities, and handling all aspects of tax audits.
