About the Role
The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President to play a pivotal role in managing and expanding its consulting business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple service lines, each with its own director, and will be deeply involved in internal administration, business development, and service line oversight. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a balance of strategic thinking and day-to-day operational management. The AVP will be expected to guide the company's consulting service lines, support the growth of service line directors, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, financially sustainable services to primary care providers. Applicants must be based in New York State and hold a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare consulting or a related professional services setting, including a proven track record in business development, is essential. The role demands strong external relationship-building skills, the ability to work across various funding models, and a commitment to the mission of the company in advancing health equity. The AVP will also be involved in the strategic growth of the consulting business, including the development of new client and funder relationships, and must be comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
