About the Role

The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President to join their dynamic Tax team. This high-visibility role is focused on management company and corporate tax, and the successful candidate will be responsible for owning the quarterly ASC 740 provision process, including current and deferred tax calculations, rate reconciliations, and FIN 48 documentation. The role also involves partnering with corporate accounting on tax footnote disclosures and reviewing various tax-related documents and returns. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years' of tax experience, with a preference for those holding a CPA, and a strong background in ASC 740 provision. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' of tax experience, with a mix of public and private accounting. While a CPA is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role requires a candidate with hands-on experience in ASC 740 provision, and while experience in asset management, operating partnership, or management company is a plus, it is not a strict requirement. The successful candidate will be part of a small, fast-paced team and can expect to lead strategic tax projects and work closely with senior leaders across various functions.
