Junior Insurance Coverage Attorney – Top Tier Firm, Chicago. Join a growing Insurance Coverage group at a leading law firm.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the lead Partners in Chicago and other offices.
- Handle your own caseload of insurance coverage disputes.
- Represent plaintiffs and defendants in State and Federal court for case management conferences, motion hearings, non-jury trials, and post-trial collection efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of insurance coverage experience.
- Strong academic background, including a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice in Illinois.
- Excellent writing and case management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, wellness plans, and a 401(k) plan. Paid sick leave where applicable by state law.
- Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
- Anticipated base pay range (dependent on experience): $140k-$175k per annum.
