Overview
Registered Nurse (Med Surg) travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. This 13-week, nights position starts on 08/03/2026 in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Shift is 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay ranges from 1,557 to 1,642, with no guaranteed hours. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults in a medical-surgical unit, including monitoring, assessments, and intervention.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document responses, and update care plans.
- Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family education.
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate to the appropriate clinician as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to work night shift in a fast-paced med-surg environment.
- Education: nursing degree from an approved program; eligibility for RN licensure in Oregon.
- Must be able to work in a hospital Med Surg setting and adhere to unit policies and procedures.
