Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to determine their specific care needs and establish appropriate treatment interventions.

• Facilitate individualized and group counseling sessions to support elderly clients in navigating emotional challenges related to aging, such as grief, loneliness, and transitions in life.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop and implement holistic care plans that promote holistic well-being.

• Educate families and staff on best practices for enhancing emotional health in seniors, equipping them with effective strategies to support their loved ones.

• Provide grief and loss counseling to residents and their families facing end-of-life issues, ensuring compassionate care during difficult times.

• Design and implement cognitive stimulation activities and mental health interventions, aimed at fostering mental acuity and enriching the lives of older adults.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.
