Company: KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools Job Description Middle School Teacher for fifth through eighth grade classrooms in the 2025-26 school year. Teachers are assigned one grade level and are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned. Full responsibilities are outlined by the Principal. Instructional Model Four “home room” teachers per grade level each teach a core subject (English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science). Class size typically about 26 students. Fifth grade is part of the middle school model. Teachers may indicate preferred grade levels or subject areas in application.
