This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort and flexibility of your own home. However, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our team members in an outpatient office setting as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Administer comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, duration, and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices to foster an empowered approach to mental health.

• Monitor client progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for all clients.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to refine and enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in continual education and participate in case discussions to enhance practice effectiveness.

• Serve as an advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, which may include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Your expertise in guiding individuals through their struggles will enable these clients to achieve substantial improvements in their mental health and wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build secure and trusting therapeutic relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude in addressing clients' experiences and struggles.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload and paperwork.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy, particularly with clients experiencing mood disorders.
