The Role

As Business Development Representative (Wind-Down), you're the first point of contact for founders navigating one of the hardest moments in their company's life. You build a qualified pipeline for the Wind-Down Account Executives — you don't join prospect calls yourself; your job is to book qualified meetings for the AEs to run. The motion is high-volume, high-quality outbound, empathetic rather than hard-sell, in a small pod alongside two AEs reporting directly to the Founder.

Requirements

• At least 12 months as an SDR, or a quota-owning consulting, closing, or operations background
• An empathetic, founder-facing style rather than a hard-sell posture
• Relentless drive through hundreds of no's
• A high bar for both volume and quality
• On-site in Dumbo, Brooklyn five days a week

Nice to Haves

• 12+ months as an SDR with clear quota ownership, or a consulting / closing / operations background where you carried a number
• Credible and empathetic in founder-facing conversations, able to handle a sensitive shutdown moment without a hard-sell posture
• A relentless work ethic that keeps quality high at volume through hundreds of no's
• A demonstrated instinct to test, measure, and iterate on your own outreach
