Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with conditions such as respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis needs, and hypertension
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, adjusting as needed based on acuity
• Operate GE monitoring equipment and standard ED equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EHR
• Float to like assignments as required and collaborate as an engaged team member in a fast-paced emergency environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Associate of Nursing degree or higher
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EHR
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong engagement in patient care and unit culture
