High-End Handrail Installation Specialist???? Location: Charlotte, NC (Relocation Assistance Available for Qualified Candidates)
???? Schedule: Monday–Friday, with additional hours as project demands require
???? Compensation: $28.00–$32.00 per hour, based on experience

Build Exceptional Projects With Southern StaircaseSouthern Staircase, an Edge Building Solutions company, is seeking a skilled High-End Handrail Installation Specialist to install premium handrail systems for residential and commercial construction projects.
We're looking for a finish carpenter or handrail installer who enjoys detailed work, takes pride in exceptional craftsmanship, and wants to be part of a company known for quality.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Install custom wood, metal, glass, and cable handrail systems for new construction and renovation projects
- Read blueprints, layouts, and project specifications to ensure accurate installations
- Take detailed field measurements and verify compliance with building codes
- Perform precision finish carpentry while maintaining high quality standards
- Communicate regularly with the Installation Manager regarding project progress and material needs
- Maintain organized, safe, and professional job sites
- Deliver outstanding workmanship and customer service on every installation
Successful candidates will have:
- At least 5 years of professional handrail installation experience (Required)
- Experience installing over-the-post and curved rail systems is strongly preferred
- Advanced finish carpentry and trim installation skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and installation plans
- Strong math and geometry skills for accurate layout and fitting
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work in active construction environments
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 75% or more)
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to craftsmanship
